How to Tie the Davy Knot
- Thread the line through the hook eye.
- Form a loose loop with the tag end passing over the standing line.
- Bring the tag end behind and through the loop.
- Moisten and pull the standing line to tighten the knot against the hook eye.
- Trim the tag end closely.
