How to Tie the Blood Knot
- Overlap the two line ends by about 15 cm.
- Wrap one tag end around the other line 5 times.
- Bring that tag end back and pass it between the two lines at the center.
- Repeat with the other tag end, wrapping in the opposite direction.
- Pass the second tag end through the center gap in the opposite direction.
- Moisten and pull both standing lines to tighten. Trim tags.
