How to Tie the Bimini Twist

  1. Double the line to the desired length and make 20-30 twists.
  2. Put the loop over your knee (or a cleat) and keep both ends under tension.
  3. Slowly let the tag end feed back over the twists toward the loop.
  4. When wraps are complete, make a half hitch around one leg of the loop.
  5. Finish with 3-4 half hitches around both legs of the loop.
  6. Trim the tag end.
