Step-by-Step Instructions

Thread the line: Pass the line through the eye of the hook, leaving about 6 inches of working line.
Make wraps: Wrap the working end around the standing line 5-7 times (use fewer wraps for thicker lines).
Thread back: Pass the working end back through the loop closest to the hook eye.
